World's Teachers Day - 5th October

World Teachers Day is annually held around the world on 5th October since 1994. Its aim is to mobilise the support for teachers and to ensure that the needs of future generations will continue to be met by teachers. The Teachers Day represents a significant token of the awareness, understanding and appreciation displayed for the vital contribution that teachers make to education and development. Teachers are among the many factors that keep children in school and influence learning. They help students think critically, tackle problems and work cooperatively. Teachers unlock students energies, imaginations and our minds. Students in return should treat their teachers with respect. Teachers Day is a mean of showing your love and affection for a Teacher.
